PGA Waste Management Open

Tee off your sporting event fun at the PGA Waste Management Open during the week of February 5 – 11, 2024.

There is nothing like the excitement and fanfare that accompanies the whole course, especially the infamous 16th Hole, dubbed “The Coliseum” because of the surrounding grandstands holding more than 20,000 attendees that give it a coliseum-like feel. It’s known as the loudest hole in golf for a reason!

You simply cannot beat the atmosphere that builds up during this one-of-a-kind event, which takes the fun beyond the links. There’s live music, food trucks, and fun activities for fans.

Fans can enter the gates at 7 a.m. each morning of the Open. Monday and Tuesday are free, with general admission on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday $50 and Friday and Saturday $75. Parking is free.

Phoenix Suns

If basketball is your love, you’re just a short drive from Scottsdale to see the Suns battle for a return to the NBA playoffs at Footprint Center.

Single-game tickets are available from January through early April. Ticket prices vary depending on the day of the week; you might find seats as low as $26. Prices of $120 – $300 could get you good seats on many dates.

Parking is available at several parking garages and parking lots within walking distance of the arena. Prices generally range from $10 – $60.

Arizona Coyotes

From the courts to the ice rink, you can take in an exciting professional hockey game at Mullett Arena in Tempe about 15 minutes south of Scottsdale. The Arizona Coyotes are hopeful that the NHL playoffs are within their grasp for the 2023-2024 season and you can be there to be part of the growing excitement.

January, February, and March offer single-game tickets for home games of the Coyotes. Ticket prices range from $55 – $125, sometimes a bit more depending on the day and time.

Parking is at Packard Parking Structure near the arena on Packard Drive. Pre-payment cost for parking is $30; on-site $40.

Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training – Cactus League

You might not associate the winter months with baseball in Scottsdale Arizona,  but in late February in Arizona, you just might hear the call of “Play Ball” in the Scottsdale area, as spring training for the Arizona Diamondbacks and 14 other MLB teams begins.

The Cactus League home games start for the Diamondbacks on Saturday, February 24, 2024, against the Colorado Rockies. There are 16 home games scheduled for the Diamondbacks through March. Ticket prices fall between $23 and $62.
