The terms and coverage of the insurance policy are determined solely by Rental Guardian, and if you opted for insurance at the time of reservation, the relevant policy will be issued to you. It is important to note that the trip insurance premium cancellation is only permitted within 10 days of premium payment. A Coverage Increase can be done at any time. Please note if the coverage increases, an additional premium will need to be collected. A Coverage Decrease can only be decreased during the 10-day free look period. Refunds for travel premium are only permitted during the 10-day free look period. The trip insurance cannot be transferred to another party. If you choose to decline trip insurance, you will assume responsibility for any loss of rent in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including mandatory evacuation, and such coverage will not be in effect until your entire advance rental payment and trip insurance premium are fully paid.
