Stay in Phoenix’s Encanto-Palmcroft Historic District, where you can enjoy a temperature-controlled pool that can be cooled for summer stays and heated during cooler months, plus a private hot tub and four-suite layout made for relaxed group getaways.

Sip, soak, and settle in at Cocktails & Cacti, a Spanish-style villa designed for families and friends. Each of the four bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom, including a detached casita for added privacy. You’ll also have an additional half bath and a full pool bath for easy indoor-outdoor living.

The open-air spaces bring historic charm and modern desert comfort. Spend sunny afternoons by the pool, unwind in the hot tub, and enjoy quiet mornings or starry evenings under the Phoenix sky. Pool heating and cooling are available for an additional fee, giving you a more comfortable pool experience year-round.

Location & Access Note
Cocktails & Cacti is located in Phoenix’s Encanto-Palmcroft Historic District, with convenient access to Downtown Phoenix, Encanto Park, Roosevelt Row, Banner University Medical Center, restaurants, arts, and local attractions. Guests should use care when entering or exiting from the front and watch for passing traffic. The home has fully fenced front and back outdoor spaces, gated parking, and a back alley entrance that may be convenient during your stay.

Pool Heating & Cooling
Pool heating and cooling are available for $75 per day, plus tax, and must be arranged for the full length of your stay. To add this amenity, please contact our Guest Experience Team after booking. Because it takes time to bring the pool to the desired temperature, requests must be made at least 72 hours before arrival. Payment is due on the day the service is activated.

Check-In / Check-Out Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We’re happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can’t be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Last-Minute Bookings For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests. This includes:

"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The pool was fantastic and quickly became our favorite spot to spend time. "This property is stunning, clean, cozy, and so well appointed. The character, the attention to detail, the artwork, the comfort I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is located on a busy street but once you’re behind the fence it feels very private. The backyard was fantastic. The pool was sparkling and everything was just dreamy. It is around the corner from where my nephew lives so we will be renting this again and again.

"We just spent over a week here and it suited our needs great. My husband had to have a major surgery at Banner University and this house was just minutes away. Every room has its own bathroom, which was great. The kitchen was well stocked. There were a few minor things we found difficult but all in all it was a great house and met our needs well. The host was very responsive. Would stay again.

"We had a great stay - the house was set up nicely and the casita was perfect for my MIL who travelled with us. The pool was very pretty and well-kept. Our stay was in October, so we paid the extra fee to have the pool heated and the temperature was perfect. The home is located on a very busy street which made me a little nervous since our toddler is a runner, but there is a gate you can park behind and it keeps the backyard fully enclosed so there’s no risk of kids getting out to the street. Overall, a great spot for families.

"The location of the home is ideal. It was easy to access all of the venues we went to Phoenix to see (spring training baseball, Taliesin, the Desert Botanical Garden, etc). The pool and hot tub were awesome! The casita our back was convenient and offers privacy and quiet.

"We stayed at this home for a local Phoenix event and brought our whole family along with two close friends. We truly enjoyed our stay. One of our favorite features was that every bedroom had its own bathroom, which made hosting a larger group extremely comfortable.The living room was phenomenal, spacious, cozy, and perfect for gathering together. We all piled onto the couch with plenty of room, wrapped up in warm blankets provided by home, and watched a Christmas movie. The kitchen was fantastic and had everything we needed.We loved spending time in the backyard, enjoying coffee in the sun and relaxing in the jacuzzi during our winter stay. The long, gated driveway was a great bonus, allowing us to park both cars securely and giving the property a very private feel.The only thing to note is that the home is on a busy street, so pulling in and out of the driveway requires a little care. However, once inside the gate, it feels completely secluded, you don’t see or hear the street at all. The backyard is quiet, peaceful, and tranquil, making it very relaxing.The hosting team was wonderful, super responsive, professional, and incredibly kind. The home is cute, beautifully decorated, and such a pleasure to stay in. I highly recommend it.

"Great house, great backyard and pool, really nice location. Its a newer listing so for our stay they were still working some of the kinks out of the house. Communication was good, I'd stay here again for sure and rent from anyone of this hosts properties. One note, front street is very busy, but there is plenty of parking, we used the back ally entrance a lot when walking the neighborhood.

"I was lucky enough to stay at Cocktails & Cacti a few weeks ago with work associates. I stayed in the casita but spent a lot of time in the main house. Both the casita and the main house had everything we needed. Both kitchens were well stocked and super clean. I loved the decor; whoever did the work should get an award. We all spent a lot of time in the backyard, enjoying the heated pool and hot tub, watching movies and sports on the TV, and grilling. Yonder (the management company) was excellent in their hiking and dining recommendations. Our team is already planning our next trip back.

"We stayed mid-week at this very charming historic home in Phoenix for a short trip. The home is well decorated with a fun vibe around many of the original features such as exposed brick, original hardwood floors and arched windows. The well-equipped and stocked kitchen is modern as are the bathrooms. The separate casita located in the fully secured back yard is perfectly appointed with everything needed including a kitchen and bathroom with its own washer and dryer. Every day during our stay we enjoyed the backyard area which has a beautiful lounge seating area with a TV, an outdoor kitchen and a heated pool. This property has everything you need in a beautiful, historic, walkable neighborhood with restaurants and shops as well as being a short drive to PHX Sky Harbor airport. We will definitely be back to Cocktails and Cacti!
