Starlight Sanctuary offers a rare opportunity to stay inside The Boulders Resort & Spa, one of Scottsdale’s most exclusive and scenic desert communities—while enjoying the privacy and comfort of a standalone luxury vacation home. Guests love the peaceful setting, dramatic Sonoran Desert surroundings, and the ability to walk to community pools and hiking trails just steps from the front door. This home is ideal for travelers seeking a refined desert escape with flexible access to resort-style amenities, without the crowds or formality of a traditional resort stay.

Public resort amenities (golf, spa, fitness classes, restaurants) are available by reservation at public rates
Boulders Resort pools are not included for short-term stays
Tennis and pickleball courts are available on a walk-up, space-available basis with fees due at time of play
Rates, access, and availability are subject to change by The Boulders Resort
Optional Extended-Stay Club Access (30+ Nights). Guests staying 30 days or longer may purchase optional non-member access directly through The Boulders Club Administrative Office. This program may include:
- Access to resort pools
- Fitness center and daily fitness classes
- Tennis and pickleball courts (complimentary use, space available)
- Access to The Spa at The Boulders
- 10% discount on golf green fees
Registration, fees, and terms are handled directly through The Boulders Club. This access does not include charging privileges or member discounts.

Check-In / Check-Out Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We’re happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can’t be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Pets Many of our guests have allergies, so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet, we are happy to recommend some alternatives nearby.

Extended Stays Reservations of 30 days or more are subject to review; stays exceeding 30 days require an additional agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Military Discount We proudly offer a 5% discount to active duty military members and veterans. Proper documentation is required. Reach out to our Guest Experience Team for details.

Last-Minute Bookings For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests. This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest’s name
Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.

"We had a wonderful experience and it was our first time visiting Arizona! Following instructions and fill out the forms before our arrival it was an easy and necessary thing to do. We spend our time using the community pool, the backyard and walking around in the area. The only issue we had it was the QR glitch in some of the gates, other than that everything was good. We drove in our electrical car, we didn't see any electrical outlets by the carport. Garage was not available at this time. The kitchen is fully loaded, everything you need is available. We are definitely returning to Arizona and spend more time exploring.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Starlight Sanctuary. We took advantage of all the amenities, including the community pool (which is super close and underutilized—we had it to ourselves each day) and tennis drills at the facility. The neighborhood was really quiet and peaceful, and having both the patio and upper deck gave us plenty of opportunities to relax outside. The house felt spacious and private. We would definitely rent it again.

"Spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Shady, pretty desert landscaping around the ground floor patio and beautiful views of the sunset, stars and boulders from the sunny upper level patio/deck. Viking grill on the patio was clean and worked well. Well stocked kitchen. Close 2-3 min walk to the Pueblo de Las Rocas community pool which is accessed with a key provided in the unit. The pool was clean, long enough to swim laps and has pretty views. The management company were responsive by phone when we had questions. Would rent this unit again.
